She was bit of a sheltered child, being homeschooled and working on the family orchard. Her parents instilled a hard work ethic into her, making Daisy a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to working. If anything, the work kind of robbed Daisy and her siblings of a somewhat normal childhood. Work was all they knew, as there wasn’t any time for games or seeing a movie. One of the perks of Daisy being kind of confined at home was she able to spend time with the older folks of the farming community. Through them, Daisy learned how to sew and other domestic duties. Daisy became quite fond of baking and cooking during harvest and canning season. Making cakes and savory treats become an obsession, something that Daisy would partake in professionally later in life.
